The Notte Rossa vineyards, part of the Terre di Sava winery, are recognized as one of the leading wineries in the Puglian winemaking scene. Located in the Salento hinterland, these vineyards are distinguished by the sun-baked red earth, rich in limestone, clay, and sand, combined with the long summers and fresh winds from the Ionian Sea that blow through the fields at night, imparting a natural minerality to the wines.
This fertile land is ideal for native Puglian grape varieties like Primitivo and Negroamaro, while the white grapes are grown in the Upper Salento, near Taranto, in hilly, clay-based areas about 150 meters above sea level.
Notte Rossa wines have been awarded in many prestigious national and international wine competitions due to their ability to express the unique characteristics of the terroirs, delivering wines that are both authentic and true to the region’s rich winemaking tradition.
